Introduction

Day 1: Joshimath (1,875 meters)
Morning: Arrive at Joshimath

The adventure is built by moving on to Joshimath from Rishikesh or Haridwar, the base camp for the trek of Kuari Pass. Joshimath is 250 km and some 8-10 hours' drive. Day 1 Trek The first day of trekking is moderately demanding and involves a mix of rocky trails, forest tracks, and generally pristine terrain throughout. Evening: Camp setup and Stargazing.

You can take the entire afternoon to relax or walk for one kilometre to Tali Lake, which is a small alpine lake. In serene surroundings, you could meditate, click pictures, or just relax in some much-needed tranquility amidst mountains.
Evening: Campfire and Night Camping
Camp at a campfire site (if allowed) and listen to tales by other fellow trekkers at night. The temperature can get pretty low, so ensure you are adequately covered in your sleeping bag and layers.

The Day to trek on-Kuari Pass. Wake up in time and utilize all the daylight hours that you can reach to the pass when it is clear. From Auli, you can take a cable car or trek further down to Joshimath. The cable car ride gives one an experience with some excellent views of the surroundings below.
Afternoon: Rest in Joshimath
On your return to Joshimath, check into your guesthouse and spend the rest of the day relaxing. You can visit the local market, and the Narsingh Temple, or just sit back after doing this trek.
Evening: Farewell Dinner
Celebrate your end of the trek with scrumptious dinner in a local restaurant like Auli D Restaurant or Panchvati Inn. It's best time to share your experiences, as well as all the memories you have made.
